Three Ways to Find a Vet in Cincinnati

by Admin 15. September 2012 09:06

After your Cincinnati moving company has unpacked the last box, you might be ready to get your pet settled into your new city. On the top of your list is probably finding a vet. Here’s our list of best ways to find a vet that’s just right for you.

Ask for recommendations: As you meet your neighbors and people in the area, start asking around for recommendations. The best way to find a reputable vet is to get a referral. If you don’t have friends in the area, think about reaching out to your social networks to ask for referrals. Even if you don’t have friends in the direct area, you more than likely have friends of friends in the area that will be more than willing to recommend a veterinarian.

Yelp.com: If you want to check out online reviews of vets in the Cincinnati area, yelp is a great place to start. You’ll see ratings of each vet in the area – notice the offices that have more reviews so that you have a good picture of their service and experience: http://www.yelp.com/c/cincinnati-oh-us/vet

Angie’s List: Like Yelp.com, Angie’s List might be a good investment if you’re going to be looking for a number of recommendations for service providers in Cincinnati. You can get low cost monthly membership versus purchasing an annual membership. Right now it looks like there are over 244 veterinarians on Angie’s list in the Cincinnati area with over 133 of those being graded as ‘top rated’: http://www.angieslist.com/companylist/cincinnati/veterinarians.htm
