3. Seven Falls: Included in the National Geographic’s list of International Waterfalls, this must-see site is only about a mile hike to the foot of the falls. Perfect for the whole family, you can enjoy the best view of the waterfall by taking the mountain elevator or 224-step stairway to the Eagle’s Nest Observation platform.  Park also includes picnic areas, hiking trails and restrooms.

Garden of The Gods Visitor and Nature Center: A registered National Natural Landmark, this park features 300-foot sandstone rock formations and some of the most picturesque views of the area. Stop by the park’s world-class Visitor and Nature Center to learn about the sandstone rocks and how they were formed. Stop by the café for a quick bite to eat and be sure to eat on the terrace for a post-card like view of Pikes Peak and the gardens.

Waldo Canyon: This hiking area is located in the front range of the Pikes Peak area. Take a highly popular route that starts just a few minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. U.S. Olympic Training Center: Hosting more than 140,000 visitors each year, this facility educates visitors about the U.S. Olympic Committee, U.S. Olympic Training Centers and the Olympic Movement. The center features art exhibits, kiosks about all American Olympic athletes, a 225-seat auditorium and an eating facility.
