Atlantic Coast Kite Festival: Stop by 17th Street on May 5, 2012, to see a beautiful sight! At this festival, kites of all shapes and sizes will take flight for a variety of events and activities. Everyone is invited to participate in the “Best Kite Contest” and the kite-building workshop. Even if you don’t participate, pull up a chair and watch the show as some of the best-of-the-best kite aficionados send their kites to the sky.

Monsters on the Beach: On May 11-13, 2012, experience the pure thrill of racing on the beach. Get a front row seat ticket and watch as these junk cars race on a man-made course in order to win the title as fastest car.

PANorama Caribbean Music Fest: On May 11-13, 2012, stop by 24th street as the area is transformed to an “island paradise” full of island music and fare. Enjoy the steel drum band and ocean breeze during this fun-filled festival.
