1. Rawhide is a historic preservation south of the Phoenix downtown area, offering amenities like Wild West reenactments, a famous steakhouse and a resort and spa. If you're hoping to make July 4 as action-packed as possible, you might want to check out the Star Spangled Shoot Out! event in the streets of Rawhide. Here you can enjoy live traditional music, balloon artists for the kids, food vendors, cowboy gunfights and a spectacular fireworks show.
2. The All-American Festival in Peoria, Arizona, is an annual occasion that takes place at the main stadium and minor league baseball practice fields. Local radio stations, including KMLE Country 108, 93.3 KDKB Rock and Radio Disney AM 1580, will have their own stages for live performances. Your family can also enjoy water zones, an F-16 flyover, a foot-long hot dog eating contest hosted by Sonic, face painting, rock wall climbing and a fireworks display at about 9:15 p.m.

After enjoying the water slides and wave pools throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to purchase a meal ticket at the picnic area. From 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., you can feast on sumptuous items like barbecue chicken and hot dogs, salad, western-style beans, corn, fresh seasonal fruit and beverages.
