After completing your move overseas and getting your international moving company to help you unpack and settle into your new home, there are a host of exciting new places for you and your family to start exploring. Here are three budget airlines to help you fly around Asia.

1. Air Asia is the largest and most profitable airline operator in the region. Founded in 2001, Air Asia has continuously added more stops and locations to their route network, while keeping prices affordable for consumers. Based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the airline boasts an impressive list of destinations all over the region, including Thailand, India, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and even as far as London and Paris.
2. Jetstar is the low-cost carrier arm of Qantas, the Australian airline. Operations are based primarily in Australia and New Zealand, with a host of short and long haul destinations around that region. Jetstar also flies out of its secondary headquarters in Singapore to many Asian capitals, such as Manila, Phnom Penh and Taipei, as well as various tourist resort destinations and islands around Indonesia.
3. Tiger Airways is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines and the company behind Ryanair, an Irish low-cost airline. Based out of Singapore, the airline flies to several locations in China, including the islands of Hong Kong and Macau, as well as other destinations around Southeast Asia and parts of Australia. As is standard for budget airlines, no complimentary food or drinks are provided on board, but for families looking to travel without breaking the bank, these are great and safe options.
